I am so sorry to bore you all with ANOTHER abstract painting, which somehow feels even worse to hit you with almost a YEAR after my last email. “WHY DO YOU LIKE COLOURFUL ABSTRACT PAINTINGS SO MUCH?” You scream up at me, from the street outside my house, as I look out the window with distain, lit cigarette in hand. (I don’t smoke, this is a prop.)

It’s hard to say really, it’s more of a vibe. I like art being ART, it’s not obviously trying to be anything or do anything apart from being paint on a canvas. It’s also fun and energetic, it’s physical human action. It’s LIFE, man. (I take a drag from my cigarette.) You don’t need to give it more time than you want to, take a look, move on or drink it in.

Well well well. Fancy seeing you here? I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’m back - for now - and still too busy, still quite stressed, still figuring out how to be still and not care about what people think of me. So in one year not much has changed. I don’t have an excuse for you as to why I’ve not written one of these in so long. I guess I’m lazy and I stopped caring. But someone told me I AT LEAST need to hit number 100. Which I guess I do. Because otherwise, really, what is the point. So I’ll squeeze two more out of me and go from there. Deal? Deal.
